When Force Protection needed technology solutions, they called PDA for expertise and answers. PDA designer Matt Watts ( matt@pdastage.com ) specified systems that allowed sites in Michigan and North Carolina to communicate both visually and audibly via a Tandberg Video Conferencing System. PDA also installed AMX technology at the sites. AMX control systems tie communication components into one easy-to-use touch panel. These touch panels allow the user to control all systems in the conference rooms including video conferencing, lighting, audio, video projectors, projection screens and HVAC. This solution alleviated headaches for Force Protection’s IT department who continuously received calls about difficulties in operating the conference room systems.
